CAS IAP ACTION ALERT
Sign the SWC petition to UNESCO's
Director-General Protesting Vote Admitting 'Palestine" into UNESCO
October 25, 2011
UNESCO Director General

Irina Bokova
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) General Conference just opened in Paris, where it is scheduled to vote to admit 'Palestine' as a member.

Should 'Palestine' become a UNESCO member, it will surely seek to leverage its membership to gain international support to erase the history of the Jewish people in Eretz Israel and seek to have holy sites, like the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, Joseph's tomb in Nablus, Rachel's tomb in Bethlehem, and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, declared as wholly Palestinian heritage sites.
The Palestinian gambit at UNESCO is but a stepping-stone of an ongoing campaign at various UN agencies for a state whose leaders openly refuse to acknowledge Israel as a Jewish State and deny the 3,000 year connection of our people to the Holy Land.   We must not stand by silently!

To sign the petition go to http://www.wiesenthal.com

The mission of IAP is to broaden and deepen the mobilization of our membership as advocates for Israel . Beyond financial support and visiting or living in Israel , the IAP recognizes we can play a role in history.
