'Palestine' was voted in as a member of UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) - the first UN agency to bestow full membership upon the not-yet defined 'Palestine'.
As a result of the vote, the United States, as required by law passed during the Clinton Administration, will cut off some $70 million in funding to UNESCO, or more than 20% of its annual budget.
Some members of CAS have already joined the protest to UNESCO's Director-General Irina Bokova. If you have not signed the petition, we urge you to do so and to forward to your family and friends, http://www.wiesenthal.com
